Granola Bars 101
Hi everyone! Hope your day is off to a good start.
Breakfast this morning was Nature’s Path Multi bran cereal plus milk.

Breakfast part 2 consisted of apple slices and Justin’s Honey PB. Delish.
Lunch was a huge salad with green beans, avocado, garlic hummus, cut up chicken burger, and Balsamic Vinegarette. Buying the huge containers of spinach at Whole Foods lasts our house all week including everyday lunches and costs just $4.99! I often catch myself referring to Whole Foods as Whole Paycheck, but there are some serious deals there!
For a snack now, I’m having a Pure Cherry Cashew bar. I love bars, but you can get into deep trouble if you don’t read the labels- most are over-processed sugar traps. I look for bars without soy or plain sugar and that have less than 15g of sugar per bar. Here are a few of my go-to bars for you:
Perfectly blended fruits and nuts.
Simple high quality ingredients and super filling
FLAVOR N FIBER
Brownie texture and 12 g fiber? Need I say more?
A little high in sugar from date, but incredibly delicious and still a great option.
There are countless other bars that I love too- ProBars, Raw Revolution, Lara Uber Bars, Platinum Performance bars, Pure Bars etc. Remember to watch the sugar and aim for 4g fiber (at least) per bar! Happy bar shopping:)
