Bye, Summer!

This post has sat in my drafts folder for the last 8 days waiting patiently for me to decide that summer’s over to post it. Even though it’s already the 8th of September, I can’t seem to bring my self to swap out my flip flops for my Uggs! Yet pretty soon the leaves are going to start falling, so I’m forcing myself to unlock my death grip on the watermelon, suck it up, and start embracing pumpkin, apples, and other fall delights!

The best summer recipes of twenty twelve 🙂

  1. Those recipes look delicious; I especially want to make that fantastic-looking Key Lime Pie Green Smoothie:) I am definitely looking forward to eating fall foods–pumpkin, squash, hearty chili, apples, warm and creamy oatmeal, and many more…Summer has been wonderful, but I am ready to begin a new season, especially as I begin my first semester of community college.

  2. Love the recipes! I especially want to try the fig butter.

Also, I’m jumping for joy at the change of seasons; I love fall!!!!

    • The fig butter was definitely one of my favorites! I like that it’s thick without any added sugar or icky ingredients like corn syrup. I love the fall, but summer’s is at the top of my list:) Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Nice, nice, nice 🙂
